Eddie Kim

Founder – General Manager

Eddie Kim focuses on equine reproduction and supports breeders and mare owners in the reproductive care.

He completed his secondary education at Northfield Mount Hermon in the United States and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. He also pursued academic coursework in economics and social sciences at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University.

He later specialized in equine reproduction through training and certification programs in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and the United States.

At Equikim Reproduction Center he supports the veterinary team in the reproductive care and management of mares entrusted to the center by breeders.

With an international background and proficiency in five languages, he works with breeders and mare owners in the Netherlands and internationally.

Carlotta Bocci

DVM, MRCVS – Veterinarian

Carlotta is a veterinarian specializing in equine reproduction. She graduated from the University of Pisa in 2015 with a thesis on the in vitro viability of fresh and vitrified donkey embryos. 

She has gained extensive international experience working in breeding stations and veterinary clinics in Scotland and France. From 2020 to 2022, she was part of the Equine Breeding Group at the University of Pisa as a clinical veterinarian, contributing to research activities and student training. Since 2020, she has been enrolled in the ECAR College residency program, which is currently ongoing. Between 2022 and 2025, she worked at Avantea in Italy, one of the world's leading centers for advanced equine assisted reproduction and embryo technologies, where she was responsible for Ovum Pick-Up (OPU), embryo transfer, and the reproductive management of donor and recipient mares. 

She currently works at the Equikim Reproduction Center, where she is responsible for the reproductive management of donor and recipient mares and the embryo transfer program.
